Cathy Feeman

I am a mixed media visual artist and a teaching artist for over 30 years. I began to learn about prophetic art expression in the mid-2000s and was invited to teach at several Prophetic Arts retreats and conferences before returning to college to earn a BFA in Contemporary Art with a focus on painting and a fresh calling to the mission field of the Art World. Henri Matisse said that Creativity takes courage. My gift is encouragement, and my passion is to use that gift to challenge artists out of their creative comfort zones and experience the beauty and zoé life of our Creator.

Cathy and her husband, Tom, were called out of the Chicago/Northwest Indiana area to Michigan in 2022. She currently works at the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center and is a Visual Arts Teaching Artist for Kalamazoo’s Education for the Arts, where she works primarily with students through age 26 with moderate to severe physical, emotional, and cognitive impairments.
