our philosophy
The role of pastors and leaders isn‘t to be the central figures of the church. Nor are the leaders or staff of a church the only ones who should be able to use their gifts. Pastors are meant to be servants that shepherd the body of Christ with love, coaches that unlock the unique gifting and calling in everyone, and equippers who help everyone reach spiritual maturity in Jesus to see the Kingdom of God brought into their contexts and circles.
Cultivate Church Network is led by a growing team of local pastors / elders and leaders. Our team of elders and leaders are submitted to an outside board of spiritual advisors for spiritual guidance, authority, and accountability.

Mike & Leah Ureche
Mike and Leah are passionate about creating community, seeing the church look like family, and helping people follow Jesus. Mike has served in several ministry capacities from pastoring local churches, serving with a mission’s organization and leading programs within a refugee services organization. Mike has his BA in Global Studies and MA in Theology. Mike is a licensed and ordained minister. Mike loves reading, writing, exploring new cities, and eating good food. Leah is an artist and is passionate about empowering creatives. She loves thrifting, creating, and spending time with her friends and family.

Lilly Boyer
Lilly is passionate about creating spaces where people can be seen, known, and encountered by the unprejudiced love of Jesus. She desires to see identity and belonging spoken over the broken and hopeless. Since her teenage years, she has served her local church in different capacities, but usually pouring into the next generation. She has attended a Discipleship Training School and the School of Writing with YWAM. She recently graduated with Associates in Biblical Studies. There are so many things that light up Lilly’s heart, but especially Jesus, reading and writing, multiple cups of coffee a day, and all things bright and yellow.

Gevanta and Cierra Nichols lead Cultivate’s Northside House Church. They are passionate about creating community, connection, and helping people discover their gifts and callings in Jesus. Gevanta has served on staff in a previous local church and has a calling to shepherd and love God’s people. Cierra is a graduate of Radiant School of Ministry where she led Young Adult and College expressions. Gevanta loves reading, playing tennis, and walking his neighborhood. Cierra is passionate about art, creativity, and a good latte. Together, they are incredible food truck connoisseurs.
